Writer's Place Tel Aviv supports Anglo and French writers in Israel

Writer’s Place Tel Aviv is a writing studio dedicated to the Anglo and French writers both in Israel and visiting Israel. It’s mission is to develop a voice in English and French for members of those communities whose perspectives tend to be shouted down or stifled in Israeli arts and letters. One of its projects is to lobby against the new law passed in 2016 which stipulated that the Israeli literary prize may not be awarded for any work not written in Hebrew and not written in Israel.
